VON SCHWARZWALD GERMAN SHEPHERDS LLC

Maximus looking handsome as ever! He was a service dog with the best temperament I have ever seen! He excelled in advanced obedience, enjoyed doing some protection work and loved herding the livestock on our ranch. His other great joys were children and pine-cones! He was a true guardian and cared for any and every creature that ever crossed his path. This included human babies, baby chicks, newborn kittens, pups, horses, newborn goat kids and more! He was a gentle giant and brought joy to every person he ever met. He passed away and will be forever in our hearts. He was truly the best boy we could have ever asked for. ❤
An amazing boy with a tremendous temperament and solid structure!

Saphira was an incredible animal! She excelled in advanced obedience and Schutzhund from a VERY young age. Unfortunately, she was tragically taken from us by a criminal who shot her in our backyard while we were at work. She was only a couple years old, and a magnificent service dog and partner. Saphira was about to earn her PA and was almost ready to trial for her BH as well when we lost her. She was nicknamed "Bright eyes" due to the literal sparkle in her eyes. She was the perfect mix of sweet and sassy!
She will be forever in our hearts and is deeply missed. 💜

Luxor is now retired and an incredible working dog! He is from imported parents and is from 100% European bloodlines. His father (IPO3) Jaeger, was the 2015 USCA WORKING DOG CHAMPION! (As well as the top tracker at that time and the only dog, out of 67 dogs, to complete his trial and receive his FH1 title!) Luxor was the most focused and driven dog I have ever owned, he would focus on his handler under INTENSE distractions, including food, aggressive dogs, people, wildlife, and gunfire on the field as we worked. He was BRILLIANT! I had planned on training him in Schutzhund and titling him, but our direction changed course due to unseen circumstances. He is a wonderful animal with a sweet and loving nature about him. He was so impressive! My 2 year old nephews (as well as stranger's children at the park) could work him off leash without a hiccup! When I say this dog was focused, I mean it would take a cannon to make him blink! Not even the shotguns could break his focus while working! This dog will be forever dear to me. He had a rough start in his early life and has since turned into one of the best looking and most solid dogs I know. His temperament and devotion made him a truly incredible boy. 💚

Paradox is now retired. She looks absolutely awesome for 11 yrs old!
This girl has been an amazing mother for our puppies and has been an irreplaceable addition to our home and family. We adore her and truly hope there are many more years to enjoy with her beside us. Paradox has always nurtured everything around her... from human babies, to foals, to goat kids, to kittens and baby chicks! No harm would ever come to a little one under her watchful eye. Temperament and structure are what we breed for and she excels in both regards. We are happily keeping her stunning daughter in our breeding program! The next litter we have will be fourth generation "Von Schwarzwald" puppies! Very exciting!

Saga is now retired and living her BEST life being spoiled and loved, as she well deserves! ❤️
Saga is a fabulous family dog with an unmatched temperament, often referred to as our potato! She will work and play all day, but is SUPER calm when inside and especially around the kids & livestock. A very loving and sweet natured female (yet protective!) that gave us some truly beautiful and intelligent working pups.
Saga is a gorgeous and well built female. Quite striking, extremely powerful and SO athletic! One of the fastest dogs we have ever seen beside a quad! Also one of the most handler focused and affectionate GSDs to come through our home. She is deeply loved, as are her darling pups! ❤️

Echo, a most incredible pup, that we had the privilege of loving for only a short time. ❤️
Our hearts and home are completely broken by the loss of our darling Echo in a tragic accident.
We have so many beautiful and happy memories, with her in them. Writing this post has taken a lot. But I want to remember what a bright light she was. She made our home so much happier with her goofy and playful nature. I want to remember her happy and tail wagging. Remember her excitement towards everyone she met (The mail lady and the UPS guy adored her and would come up to the house just to visit and get some loving.)
Echo was EVERYTHING we breed for in a working GSD. Confident, beautiful, intelligent, steady in EVERY environment, and so so loving. She loved her way into our hearts from the day she was born. I didn't realize when I held her at just a few minutes old that she would wrap us all around her little paws so quickly, incredibly, and totally.
Rest in peace, sweet baby girl. You were the very best girl we could have ever asked for, the love and joy you brought into our home will NEVER be forgotten. ❤️
